Delicious And Nutritious, But Too Expensive

Carnation Breakfast Essentials is delicious but a bit pricey so I only buy it when it is on sale (rarely) or I have a coupon (seldom). A good alternative is Ovaltine. It is also very nutritious and the cost per ounce of Ovaltine is quite a bit less.

I was prepping for a medical procedure and was allowed to drink, but not eat, the day before. I’m also lactose intolerant so I got the ready-made bottles. They were delicious and served me well.

There's a plastic top with no attachment meaning anyone can open it without a person being aware. Then the simple plastic is easily puncturable without anyone knowing it. Growing up with the Tylenol scandal/poisonings this package makes me very nervous.

I love the flavor, convenience, and the price compared to other meal replacement mixes. My issue is I feel the company misleads consumers by listing protein and nutrient amounts on the front of the packaging. Those are amounts if you make it with Milk. Many of us drink milk alternatives. I believe the package contents should be displayed on the front. It is a sales tactic that is making me look for a different product.

Calcium phosphate allergy in my household. Phosphates removed fm laundry soap due to causing lg amounts of foamy bubbles in waterways. Used only last few yrs in foods. Watch for bubbly pee! Can/has happened! Other than the phosphates, not bad nutrition.
